“Dejar de” means to stop doing something, to end an action, to give up something, to swear off.

A phrasal verb is a verb followed by a preposition or adverb.

“Dejar de” should be followed by a verb in the infinitive form (not conjugated).

Examples:

Ella nunca deja de leer.
She never stops reading.
