¿IR or IRSE?

“¡IR and IRSE are not the same! ¡😂!”.

Are you going to a place or leaving a place?

Remember “IRSE” requires a reflexive pronoun (me-te-se-le-les-n
os-os) telling who is leaving.

While “IR” doesn’t need it and many times is followed by a preposition like “A” (to), “CON” (with), etc.

EXAMPLES,
IR – Talks about movement.
– Voy al mercado.
– Voy con Sandra.
– Voy a trabajar hasta las 4.

IRSE – Refers to the action of leaving
– Me voy de la fiesta.
– Se va a la casa de su amiga.
– ¿Cuándo nos vamos?
